Amazon accepted me for their affiliate program several days ago. They sent me an email telling me I hadn’t “referred a sale,” and gave me several suggestions – I’m very receptive to suggestions 🙂 One of their suggestions was to add an “AStore.” This is basically a way to hand pick products off their site offering; personalize a store for my website with an amazon shopping cart. Can we say very cool? Very cool. To stay true to my site’s them of low cost products, I weeded thru 150 of 600 product offerings in the feminine hygiene product line to find low cost per unit tampon prices. They had bulk offerings of 500 pc pkg., but also offered much smaller units of 10, 18, 74, 108 up to 500 and much inbetween for very attractive prices. Many have free shipping too! While I did research retail tampon prices, I haven’t yet had a chance to research sanitary napkin prices, but I included some of those offerings that looked like they were good prices, and some menstrual cycle starter kits, how cute! If you are interested in seeing the progression of the site, www.DewDropShop.com, click the link and check it out. Like I mentioned I’m open to suggestions and constructive criticism.
PS – Another company that approved me for advertising, Capitol Supply, advised they would float me $10 just for adding their baner link to my site – what an incentive! Can this become an actual career transition or just a change maker?
