The rate of seniors catching sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s) have doubled in the last several years according to the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta. A variety of reasons can explain the situation–after having a “safe partner” for years they may be unaware of the escalating levels of STD’s, they don’t talk to their doctors about sex and therefore don’t get tested, aches and pains may be attributed to aging.
